Super joul thief

Replication of Chilliqueen2007 Super Joule Thief using 2n3904/2n3906 and an 8 cmm ferrite antennae rod wrapped in 30 gauge wire. Great little circuit for improving on garden solar lamps. 1.38v / 10 mA. Normal consumption of these LEDs would be 3.2 - 3.4v @ 100 mA which would definitely be a lot brighter, however, at 0.01 watts, this is seemingly a very efficient lighting circuit that could easily be replenished with a single solar cell, daily. Interesting is that you can actually hear the ferrite rod "singing" a harmonic of it's resonance frequency, like a tuning fork. For more info see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzlMHlnK2DM
